  • What is a 510 battery?

The batteries we carry are 510 threaded devices that assist in activating cartridges or any tool with a 510 threading fixture.

Vape Cartridges contain either a distillate oil or liquid diamond (CBD forward or high THC percentage, little to no cannabis flavour/smell, and often heavily flavoured like fruit or candy) or full spectrum extracts (Tastes and smells like the plant it came from, contains most of the cannabinoids present in the plant, higher quality, and more well-rounded effects).

These cartridges have a small threaded attachment that screw into the batteries, allowing you to heat that oil in a convenient and hassle free way. This is a clean and potent way to consume THC and other minor cannabinoids without a lighter, rolling papers, or without sacrificing the satisfying mouth feel of taking a draw. Most batteries work similarly; 5 clicks of the big button to turn it on, 5 clicks to turn it off. 2 clicks to preheat the cartridge up to a nice temperature that allows you to vape it. This might look like a steady flashing light or a 10 second count-down. If you are walking around chilly Vancouver with your cartridge and battery in your pocket, it’s best to preheat it so you’re not pulling the oil through the hardware before it has a chance to vaporize. However, some batteries have no button at all. These batteries are considered draw-activated. Meaning, you can draw on the cartridge and the battery will react and begin vaporizing instantly.

Most batteries have a temperature control system as well. This usually looks like a dial or screen with a range of temperatures on it (1.0V-4.2V) or three temperature setting (low, medium, high). The higher the temperature, the more vapour you will draw from it. The lower you go, the flavour tends to come forward a little more and less vapour of course. If you are burning it too high you will notice the flavour and function of the vape cartridge begin to change. This can be good or bad, depending on your vaping preferences. We recommend you start at a lower temperature (2.4V) and work your way up until you are happy with the amount of vapour pulling from the cartridge.

No matter what battery you choose, we are here to help walk you through its design and how to use it properly. All batteries are different; some small, simple and low maintenance, others larger with longer battery life, or discreet styles to hide a cartridge (sometimes we gotta be sneaky).

  • What is CBD?

CBD (cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid. A cannabinoid is a compound found in the cannabis plant that has varying effects.

Back in the pre-legalization days, CBD was recognized among frequent consumers as an alternative to traditional medicine. Consumers often felt relieved of chronic pain, side effects of cancer treatments, arthritis, nausea, and evil brain activity (ie. anxiety, depression, PTSD) (we are not doctors, wink wink, kiss kiss).

CBD is most commonly consumed orally through edibles, oils, and capsules for the inside problems or topically for the outside problems.

Consumed in low doses (2mg-15mg), CBD can help keep things mellow and comfortable.

Consumed in higher doses (15mg-25mg+), CBD can give the consumer a heavy body and muscle relaxing effect.

While remaining non-psychoactive – CBD is Euphoric, so although it wont get you “stoned” it can still be experienced with both positive and negative effects (while finding your perfect dose). CBD is a slow release cannabinoid and will work better after prolonged usage vs the first time you try it so don’t be discouraged to try again if its not right the first time.

  • What is CBG?

CBG (Cannabigerol) is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid derived from sativa cannabis plants. Similar to CBD, it may offer some anxiety relief, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial benefits. CBG is commonly thought of as a mood booster, keeping things clear and focused but relaxed.

  • What is CBN?

CBN (Cannabinol) is a slightly psychoactive cannabinoid derived from aged cannabis. In high doses, the consumer could very well experience a bit of a high.

CBN is known as a sedative, assisting those who struggle with insomnia or symptoms alike get a restful nights sleep. When using CBN with the hope of sleeping better, we might suggest you take it alongside a dose of THC and/or CBD. Thanks to what we call the entourage effect, we believe the cannabinoids work better together.

  • Whats the difference Between Distillate and Liquid Diamonds?

Distillate:Cannabis distillate is a highly refined extract, offering a pure and potent form of THC through the fractural distillation process. Unwanted compounds are removed leaving a clean, flavorless and odorless product that can be used across various applications such as vapes, edibles, topicals and tinctures. With high THC levels, distillates are popular for those seeking strong effects without additional plant compounds. (Typically above 70% THC when found in vape carts)

Liquid Diamonds: Liquid diamonds are created through a meticulous alcohol extraction process that refines THCA diamonds into a highly potent, liquid form. This method ensures a near-total purity level, allowing us to experience the full strength of isolated THC (Typically above 90% THC in vape carts) without other plant materials.

These products don’t typically fall under Sativa, Indica, or Hybrid classifications because they focus on isolated cannabinoids (primarily THC), absent of terpenes and plant compounds that would otherwise determine specific strain effects. Instead, their potency and purity provide a strong, generalized effect that appeals to a wide range of cannabis consumers.
