Hash has a long history dating back to the ancient Egyptians and is believed to be the earliest recorded concentrate from cannabis. The hash people know today has its roots in India. While harvesting, in a process called Charas, the plants were rubbed together by hand to release a sticky sap (THC gland heads) which was then rolled into a ball and put into temples (temple balls) .
